22 Weeks! {'Bump'date}.

I can't believe that another week has passed already. This pregnancy is flying by! Our countdown to baby is now only 124 days away. Which may seem like a long time right now, but I know it will be here sooner than we expect. And I definitely want to be ready. We have a lot to do in the next few weeks...

Here's the weekly 'bump'date:

Pregnancy Highlights

How Far Along:   22 weeks! Baby boy is about 55% cooked at this point.

Baby's Size:   According to Babycenter, baby boy is about the size of a spaghetti squash and weighs almost a pound now.

Total Weight Gain:   As of my 20 week appointment 2 weeks ago, I was up a total of about 10 pounds. So, my guess would be somewhere in the 11-12 pound range at this point. I won't 'weigh in' until my 24 week appointment, so won't know for sure until then. The appetite has been increasing, so I'm sure the el-bees will keep on coming pretty regularly now.

Maternity Clothes?   Yep. All of my work pants are maternity pants now. And I am down to only two pairs of pre-preggo jeans that still fit. I ordered a few maternity items last week, and they came yesterday. Hoping that with the addition of those items, I can stretch my wardrobe for a few more weeks until spring arrives. I am already ready to be wearing normal clothes again - and I've still got a long ways to grow, er go.

Best Moment This Week:   Hubby put up the crib! And we received baby boy's Pottery Barn crib quilt - with his monogram on it. Seeing his name on the quilt was surreal. It's really starting to feel like there will be a baby around our house soon!

Gender:   It's a boy! Promise to share the name soon:)

Movement:   Feeling more and more movement every day - tiny little bumps and nudges. Sweet boy seems to like to move around more in the evening hours, when I finally sit down to rest after a long day at the office. I love feeling every one of those precious little wriggles and can't wait for them to be strong enough for the hubs to feel too. He's tried, but hasn't been able to feel anything yet.

Food Cravings:   It appears that my long lost sweet tooth has returned. This week, I am loving: Powdered donuts. Applesauce. Cranberry juice and ginger ale - my 'mock'tail of choice. Fruit Loops. Fruit. Candy. Oh, and sour cream 'n onion potato chips.

Food Aversions:   Anything coffee scented. Garlic. Stewed meats (i.e. Mexican - which makes me sad, as it's usually a fave).

What I Miss:   My pre-preggo clothes. My wardrobe has shrunk so much - there's so many things that I just can't wear right now! My small waist. Lunch meat. Being able to bend over easily.

Sleep?  I have been waking up multiple times every night lately - for no apparent reason. The midnight restroom breaks have abated for now, so not sure what's going on. But, I sure do wish this trend would go away. Mama needs to catch up on some serious zzzz's.

What I'm Looking Forward To:   Taking our fabric swatches (which also arrived this week), to B's grandmother's house this weekend. We are going to finalize our plans for the crib bedding and window dressings, which will be so nice. After that's done, we can move forward with ordering the fabrics and picking out our paint. I've also spent some time on Etsy this week, searching for some little personalized items for the nursery. Things are moving right along!
