Four Eyes {Firmoo Review}.

Here's something you may not know about me: I have terrible eyesight. I am, in fact, considered 'legally blind' without the aid of glasses or contact lenses.

A couple of weeks ago, I was contacted by Firmoo - a global online optical store - about doing a review of their products. In exchange for my honest review, Firmoo offered to send me a pair of their prescription eyeglasses. For free. Now, as any of my fellow vision-challenged peeps can attest to: Glasses are expensive. Especially if your eyesight is truly, horribly, really bad, like mine, and you have to spring for the thinner (i.e. more expensive) lenses. That, or wear glasses with lenses that look like Coke bottle tops. Not cute. So, this offer was one that I actually decided to consider. Not being a fan of blogs that are constantly posting reviews of products, I only accept product review offers once in a while.

Before accepting, I scampered on over to the Firmoo website to take a gander at their products. And immediately contacted the representative to accept their offer. Y'all. They have some super cute options. And by some, I mean many. So many, in fact, it was hard for me to choose just one. 

Prescription eyeglasses are not something you just run out and purchase every day, so I was super excited by the possibility of getting a more fashionable pair than the ones I've been rocking for the last 2 years. I ended up selecting a 'wayfarer' style for my free pair: The CP6072 to be exact. I was going for the 'geek chic' look. I think I accomplished it, no? What do you think?

I was very pleased with the results! The larger frames are just what I had in mind. The fit is superb - better than the glasses I got at my last visit to the optometrist to be honest. And their customer service made the whole process a breeze. I simply entered in my prescription information (you will need a valid, up-to-date prescription for glasses with prescription lenses), chose the pair I wanted and my order was processed. I got the glasses in less than a week. They came with a leather case, a little bag and a cleaning cloth.

Along with a variety of super cute options for the vision-challenged among us, Firmoo also offers glasses for those who want the glasses look, but don't need the vision assistance. Their website offers up some adorable sunglasses too. All at the super low prices that have made them so well-known. The normal price for the glasses that I chose is $39.00. Prescription glasses can't get any more reasonable than that. In fact, for that price, I'm considering trying out some fun, colored versions as well - as you can see, I stuck with basic black for my first pair.
