So, let's just avoid that thought for now. Here's your weekly 'bump'date:
25 Weeks!

Pregnancy Highlights
How Far Along: 25 weeks! Just two weeks left of my second trimester!
Baby's Size: According to Babycenter, baby boy is the size of a rutabaga (whatever that is!) and weighs about a pound and a half. He is also over a foot long now - no wonder I can feel him moving around in there a lot more lately!
Total Weight Gain: I won't weigh in until my next appointment this Friday. At my last appointment (about 2 weeks ago), I was up a total of 18ish lbs, so probably somewhere around 20 by now. Right now, I seem to be all belly - baby boy sticks right off the front of me like a basketball.

Maternity Clothes? Yep. I feel like I am starting to run out of cute outfit options so I may have to do some shopping in the near future. A lot of my pre-preggo tops and dresses still fit fine, but I need a few more pants or skirts to start pairing with.
Best Moment This Week: Getting the nursery completely cleared out and cleaned. We will be painting this weekend and I can't wait to see what it looks like with our chosen color. Each little task brings us one step closer to bringing home our little man. So exciting!
Gender: It's a boy. Caleb Monroe. He is so loved!
Movement: As mentioned last week, I been feeling a lot more movement these days. Caleb likes to remind me that he's down there in my tummy just hanging out, and I am loving it. Over the past couple of weeks, B, my mom, B's mom and B's little sister have all gotten to feel his little bumps and nudges, which was a really neat experience to share with them.
Food Cravings: Potato chips - which I just can't stop eating. Maybe I will swear them off after giving birth - that'd be nice. Fruit. Sweettarts. Applesauce. Carbs.
Food Aversions: Uncooked chicken - gag. Onion, garlic, caramel and coffee scents.
What I Miss: Ice cold glasses of frosty Coca Cola. Yum. And turkey meat. I would kill for a classic deli sandwich right now. Like, right now. Oh, and sushi. I've never wanted a spicy shrimp roll more. Apparently, I'm all about the food I can't have this week.
Sleep? I think I am giving up on attempting to get an uninterrupted night of sleep. It just doesn't happen. I am not a 'getting up 5 times to use the restroom' preggo - which I am thankful for. But, I do seem to just wake up randomly, for no apparent reason, which is almost more frustrating than having to wake up to pee.
What I'm Looking Forward To: Continued nursery progress this weekend - which feeds my little nesting mama's heart.

Good luck with the nursery!
I had some sushi last night, so you can live vicariously through me! :)
Still looking glowing and cute as ever!!
oh nesting is so fun! love getting things done for baby boy!
I cannot wait to see the nursery! You are a precious pregnant woman!!! Look at that baby bump! You're right it looks just like a basketball, a very very cute basketball!
I can't believe you're almost in the third trimester! You're so stinking adorable with your basketball bump. :)
I am so in love with your bumpdates! you are the cutest pregnant lady ever and I am so happy for y'all and this new journey! :)
and holy cow - third trimester! eeeek!
how exciting for you to be working on the nursery! I'm sure it will be adorable, I can't wait to see it!
You look adorable as usual! Glad you're feeling well. I just love the name Caleb! How fun you'll be making some progress on the nursery this weekend!
Girl, treat yourself to a nice cold frosty glass of coke! My doctor assured me that it was okay to treat myself to one every now and then! Just do so within moderation was her advice!
And yay for nursery decorating! It's probably my favorite part of being pregnant. The nesting hits full force when it comes to that one!
And as for the waking up at random times in the middle of the night, I'd like to say it gets better but I'm 29.5 weeks now and I've been waking up at random times each night for weeks! I think it's God's way of preparing us for late night/ early morning feedings. haha
Have so much fun with the nursery! That was one of my favorite things in getting ready for Cash. :) Love that others are getting to feel baby Caleb move! That is one of the things that I miss the most from being pregnant! Enjoy every second! It goes so FAST!
Crazy how fast it goes. You are such a pretty mom-to-be. Still looking forward to seeing the nursery!
You look so great! I also feel like my baby belly looks like a basketball which makes me think I'm likely having a boy. ;) I am so excited other people were able to feel your baby move--isn't that a wonderful feeling!?
